What Members Thought

Can belive I never reviewed this the first time. I know why though, it the same reason as this time, I'm already three book in and didn't even realize. The Expanse is one of the best sci-fi series ever written in my opinion, this is my second time reading it, and we've watched the entire series at least 3 times. It's just so dan good. It's hard to review the books separately, esp the first 3 or so as they really are jsut one big story, and it's great.

Simply written, easy to understand, (these are not criticisms!), this story is bigger than it seems! No wonder the book is so huge. There's not much waste.
Julie Mao opens the book, and is in one of the last parts as well. Her story, entwined with others, provides an almost full, almost complete, circle.
The story switches between James (Jim) Holden out in space on a ship and Miller, a cop on Cerer. Jim and crew and ice miners, hear an auto help beacon, find an abandoned ship, while Miller gets an ...more
