What Members Thought
I've read a lot of fairy tale retellings. There aren't a lot of rewrites of Rapunzel that I've come across though there are a few. Most of them are just meh. This one is fabulous. I've re-read it every year since I first read it in 2014. The entire Lunar Chronicles series is A-mazing.

I definitely enjoyed this one better than Scarlet. I liked that there was a lot more of Cinder's character, as well as very minimal Scarlet. Cress herself wasn't my favorite, and I think that Thorne is wasted as her love interest, but who knows, maybe they'll grow on me as they continue to develop. Wolf needs to just quit, I was so annoyed by his moodiness and brooding throughout the entire books. I appreciate the action in this one as the world gets darker and the war truly begins. I do intend

This is the third book in the Lunar Chronicles series and I will say that I was pleasantly surprised by the range of ‘feels’ that this book gave me. I went through anticipation, suspense, frustration, angst, utter sadness, and elation! I would give it a solid four, which is the highest rating I’ve given any of the books in this series so far.
