Coming back to this book after almost 10 years as a mature person with a very different eye and view of the world really hits differently, I still think it's fucked up and just sad but it's all true and coming to be, or it's happening while I'm writing this right now, the world is actually that bad if not worst, did Orwell see into the future or he just felt that history will repeat itself?

It is such an old book, that I don’t really think that a review would be necessary. There isn’t anything more thoughtful that I could honestly add to this amazing classic.
This book is frightfully delightful. I could honestly see people pushing to make our world just like that. Power driven “party” members who push for complete control over all information where even the thought of something out of the ordinary has the ability to ruin your life.
