What Members Thought
I really wanted to like Jules Vernes' books. And "A Journey to the Centre of the Earth" was OK...but far from what I expected. Maybe this book, "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea" would be better? I hoped it would be. But I found this book even worse.
To me, this book had even less of a plot than "A Journey..." had. And I found myself struggling to get through all the passages with just "listings" of animals/flora. ...more
