I found this to be a very interesting and mostly enjoyable read, though occasionally mildly irritating in minor respects. Written before I was born, Ringworld stands the test of time remarkably well...if often feels so contemporary, in fact, that I had a hard time giving Niven grace for the inevitable gaps in his knowledge and outdated ideas.
