This is Heinlein at his best and worst. Alongside brilliant concepts executed with an unerring acknowledgment of the physical realities involved, you get tedious political expositions and casual sexism. In other words, you get Robert Heinlein.

Lunar colony of the future revolts against its earth-bound rulers. There are many interesting facets to the book. I especially liked Mike the supercomputer's progression throughout the novel, learning to deal with others and 'jokes'.
Like Stranger in a Strange Land, I had a few eyerolls at the libertarian lean, but I found the whole situation more plausible. Definitely a good read.

This is 60s SF from the man who started modern SF. It is about a revolution on the Moon run by an Artificial Intelligence. It has economics, politics and cultural issues. The Libertarians think it's great but I think it demonstrates that Heinlein was smarter than most libertarians.

Reliving the days when I was going to be an astronaut. Or at least an aerospace engineer. I remember crying on the last page. But I don't remember getting as worked up about Heinlein's female characters as I did this time.
