OMG! Levithan is a genius. This book, a novel in verse, has 20 narrators, all students at the same high school. Each tells his or her own story, and they all are inter-related. Some are friends, some are enemies, some are romantic interests. As always, Levithan includes gay and lesbian characters with respect and affection. Each student has a distinctive voice and we grow to love all of them. To fully see the relationships, I created a chart to show whose story was whose, who they liked and didn ...more

This book is absolute perfection- I had never cried in a book for anything other than sadness, but some of these chapters brought tears to my eyes for nothing but the sheer beauty of the words. David Levithan never fails to give me chills.

This book has driven me to madness, writing words on my school books, wondering about everything; the sullen boy in the back of the class has new meaning to me now. At one point I stayed up almost all night, just so I could write all 20 narrators down, and try

The Realm of Possibility is not your average novel, but then David Levithan isn't your average writer, either.

I was first introduced to Levithan when I read Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist last year, cowritten by Rachel Cohn. Someday I'll post a review of it and you'll see why immediately after finishing Nick and Norah I added all of Levithan's books to my ever-growing list.

I was nearly halfway through Possibility when I realized I was really loving it. I had no idea what it was about beforeh

This feels like it should be measured in a completely different scale. I will admit that I have put David Levithan in some sort of pedestal that can not be reached but... can you blame me? Not only is this one of the most astonishing verse novels I have read, but it also achieve what few authors dare to attempt. This story has 20 different narrators. 20! How on earth did Levithan manage to not mix them up while writing and to actually make them each sound unique is well, bow-worthy.Every story i ...more

The Realm of Possibility is about teenagers. Fat teenagers, gay teenager, anorexic teenagers, and every other type. 20 different teenagers to be exact, all attending the same high school in NY. It's written in teenage like poetry, prose powerfully pushing stereotypes and social images out of your mind. And it's also rather beautiful.

Now, I've always been a girl that hates books in verse. I mean, not always, sometimes I rather like it, but usually--usually, I hate it. I hate it, not because I'm a

I had a tough time trying to figure out how everyone was connected to each other, but if you ignore that this book was excellent.

Well done, but not my favorite Levithan; interlocking stories of high schoolers.
