Lisa Kleypas kicks off another great series!
Setting: London and Hampshire county, England, 1848
Just read Mine Till Midnight (The Hathaways, Book 1) for the second time, since I had wanted to refresh myself on the Hathway family before starting the second book in the series, Seduce Me at Sunrise (The Hathaways, Book 2). I loved it as much as the first time I read it. Lisa Kleypas is definitely one of the most talented (if not THE most talented) historical romance authors out there.

3.5 stars.. Cam Rohan is half-Gypsy or half-Roma and is feeling the call to wander. He meets Amelia Hathaway and is drawn to her. Cam has to pursue Amelia, instead of being chased as a novelty. I wanted to smack Leo and his irresponsible behavior.
It was great to Lord & Lady Westcliff and Lord & Lady St. Vincent and the kiddos!! I'm going to like seeing The Wallflowers around the Hathaways.

I enjoyed every second of this story. It is one of the first historical romances I have read that had a gypsy(well half) as the hero. They are usually my lord this or prince that.
Amelia is very protective of her family. They only have each other, so she does what she can to make sure that they stay together and have things that they need. This of course should not be her burden because her brother Leo is the head of the family. He hasn't wanted to fill that role because he has given up on life s ...more
