This is my least favorite Brandon Sanderson that I've read so far. The world building is great and the characters definitely grow, but I didn't like how he portrayed some females in this book. I think if he always wrote female characters like this then I wouldn't have liked his other books.

5 glorious wonderful stars for the world building, character development, magick system, plot, everything (except maybe the very ending) I devoured this one quickly. I'll happily read the next one.

Vivenna had spent her whole life preparing to marry King Susbron and merge kingdoms. However, on the day she is supposed to go her father changes his mind and sends her sister Siri instead.
