What Members Thought

Even though I think Dresden rushes into dangerous situations foolishly and is (rightfully) battered, bloody and blue, I enjoyed the book. I also thought that Murph was a bit of a pill. Seriously, how quickly did she jump to conclusions and not let Dresden explain himself? Why would he need her to be his friend? Why did her paranoid arc need to exist, if not for me to be reluctantly indignant on behalf of a chauvinistic pig I normally wouldn't care for? But yeah, I enjoyed the book. Onto Grave Pe

4 stars. Love Harry Dresden so much so far. He's an awesome, dorky, lovable guy. I like the writing and just like the first book, this one has great action scenes. My one gripe is that the female characters in this series so far leave a lot to be desired. They're very one dimensional and I'm hoping and praying that this gets better and the female characters get some shine and development in the future. Other than that I'm genuinely enjoying this series.
