It was wonderful being back in the Dresden world. The previous book 'Changes' was my favorite in the series so far, so I had a feeling going into this one that I wouldn't enjoy it as much as Changes. It turned out to be true, though I still enjoyed the story a lot.
I can't get a lot into the plot of this one, but there were just things in this one that didn't work super well. It also seemed to be a filler book, and promises a great next book (hopefully). There were still some really great moments ...more

I had put off reading this one for a bit because I was worried that with Harry being dead/a ghost, I wouldn't get to see as much interaction between him and my favorite characters. This proved to be both true and false. We still get to see all of the characters we've grown to love (with the exception of Thomas, who only shows up in one brief scene). However, most of them can't see Harry so his interaction with them is fairly limited. I did often find myself missing that interaction.

Of course, it all sorts out in the end but it took a long time to get there. Other readers have ra
