The ending was good but the journey was long and rather boring. Lots of regurgitation of memories of previous events and tons of repetition. Ugh needed to read to continue the series but darn what a waste of time.

God I love Harry Dresden. I read Changes (the previous book) almost two years ago and that book just gutted me. I seriously had to emotionally recover from that book before I could move on in the story. I was worried but this book didn't disappoint. Basically, Harry's dead and he's a ghost and he has to find who killed him. But in the process he re-evaluates his life and sees that his actions had serious consequences for the people around him. I so enjoy reading the novels about Harry Dresden, wizard from Chicago, but this one disappointed me. Yes, the author is skilled and the story is crafted well but I found the repetition of past experiences annoying. I remember those tales, battles and incidents and did not need to be reminded of them, time after time. Where were the editors? Needless to say I did not enjoy Harry as a ghost (maybe).
