I'd heard such good things about this one, that it was so funny and full of hilarious one-liners. Well, I am disappointed to say I didn't see any of that when I read. I found the main character, Emma, to be very wishy-washy and I just wanted to tell her to be honest with everyone! Ugh, she was frustrating, rather than endearing to me. I absolutely loved this book! It so reminded me of Bridget Jones Diary. Emma is terrified of flying and when the plane hits massive turbulence, she thinks she's going to die and starts blabbing all her secrets to the guy in the seat next to her. And I do mean everything. Turns out he's Jack Harper, the guy who owns the company she works for. For everyone he meets, a little bell goes off, and he uses what Emma told him in a clever way which is just hysterical. What a fabulous book! I'm not sure if it was just the perfect book for my mood, or if it was just perfectly written, or if the audiobook version added to the fun. For whatever reason, I loved this book. I laughed out loud throughout and, as always, enjoy the turns of phrases Kinsella uses and how she looks at ordinary things in a fun and humorous way.
