“In the midst of life, we are in death.”
4 stars. Super entertaining. This was my first book by Agatha Christie (I know, shame on me) and I can see why this one is so well loved and is so influential to the genre. It kept me guessing the entire time and just the way it was written was well done. I loved the atmosphere and the tone of the book. The audiobook is superb and the narrator’s voice is just the right amount of creepy to keep you invested and to have you a bit on edge. It was a great ...more

No boat returns to the island and a storm ensues. Before the day ends the first guest dies. In each room there is a copy of an old nursery rhyme ticking off the end of 10 soldiers. The island is called Soldier Island. Ori

And Then There Were None is of my favorite Agatha Christie books. It's a tightly plotted whodunnit, set to the words of a nursery rhyme. And the best part is that everyone gets what they deserve, none of them are what can be called good. Some are more unaware of their crime than others, but they're all definitely morally in the wrong.
I read it in my high school days, and my mind was blown. I still love it for its mystery and plotting after a much deserved re-read. But I'm not going to gush abou ...more
