Great book. Built tension well, dropped hints at what was to come, had an actual ending that told you enough but left you thinking/wondering/etc.

In a world where seeing the wrong thing can drive you mad, can drive you to suicide being a pregnant woman, as everything collapses around her, feels insurmountable to Malorie. This book takes place in a post apocalyptic tale about something entering our world that gives an advantage to those who are blind because they cannot be affected by the creatures.

Oh man, I really don't know... I think I rather liked this book, but I can't quite make up my mind. I'll give it 3 stars for now, maybe I'll come back and change that later...

I think part of my problem is that I just read a book that has a lot to do with being confined in a house because the outside in unsafe (Life as we knew it, Susan Beth Pfeffer). That whole aspect felt very similar and wasn't what I would've liked to read about so soon again.

I could not put this book down.

Mallorie just found out she was pregnant when the world she knows comes to and end. It’s just her and her sister until it’s not. Mallorie knows she can’t make it in her own. She sets off to find other people.
