4 stars. I can finally watch the movie and join in on the discussions about it. I’m glad I read the book first though because I feel like this probably will fill in a lot of holes and answer a lot of questions I’d have.

Frighteningly fantastic!

I had this book on hold at the library because it caught my eye on Good Reads. And then everyone started talking about a Netflix show, and I kept thinking why does that sound so familiar.....and then realized it was the book I had on hold. No idea it was made into a movie. I was thrilled and impatient to get my hands on this book!

And it DID NOT disappoint. I read it in one sitting. Couldn't put it down.

This book made me think of a weird combination of other books - Blindness, The Martian, and the Cloverfield Lane movie. I happen to really like all three of those and I really liked this.
