Dass ich mal ein Crossover zwischen Sci-Fi und Monster Boyfriend lesen würde, hätte ich nicht gedacht, aber hier sind wir nun. :D
Lindsey Ellis hat wundervolles Popcorn-Kino geschaffen. Man sollte zum Einstieg wissen, dass die Story eine perfekte Mischung aus "Independence Day" und "Beauty und the Beast" ist. (Ehrlich!) Nur dass das Biest eben ein Alien ist und sich nie in einen schönen Prinzen verwandeln wird. But that's OKAY!

This kept grabbing me and making me turn the pages. I thought I would be annoyed with the haplessness of the main character, but despite her lack of skills she had a solid core of decency that came through when needed. The loser dad was a bit of a stereotype but also a realistic one. I really liked how alien the aliens were, and how amoral the government was.
