This is my first book by T.J. A Klune, I've heard a lot of good about him. And rightly so, because this book is truly excellent.

As promised, this book definitely delivered a heartfelt "hug" of a story. This book is a cozy feeling contemporary story about some misunderstood magical children living at an orphanage with their caretaker. Our main character, Linus, has been sent to investigate this orphanage due to the extra dangerous magical nature of some of the children.

I was utterly charmed by this story. From the magical children to the adults who care about the kids, it's just a balm for my soul and I'm looking forward to rereading this one again. Lucy is standout hilarious, Linus and Arthur are delightful together and Sal will break your heart. Comfort reading at its finest!
