This is my first book by T.J. A Klune, I've heard a lot of good about him. And rightly so, because this book is truly excellent.
T.J. Klune has the remarkable ability to write a touching story without exaggerating pathos, but also without holding the hand of the reader and pointing out specific passages in which to be touched. I was utterly charmed by this story. From the magical children to the adults who care about the kids, it's just a balm for my soul and I'm looking forward to rereading this one again. Lucy is standout hilarious, Linus and Arthur are delightful together and Sal will break your heart. Comfort reading at its finest!

4.5/5.0 - I love it when a book that I was unsure about turns out to be such a hit. Although this took me about 50 pages to get into, I soon found myself hooked. I loved the variety of characters, both children and adults, with their many talents and foibles. I loved to watch them grow and discover things about themselves. And the lessons of kindness and acceptance are themes we need to live by.
