I've been hearing about this book since it came out and I'm so glad I finally got around to reading it because I LOVED it. I went into this with the idea that I would be reading a cute fluffy romance similar to the ones I'm used to reading. I was surprised by how well-written this was. It was deep and soulful and just...amazingly good. It's a very sweet love story about being yourself and seeing others for who they are.

1.5/5.0 - Contrary to the 94% of people who liked or loved this book, it did not work for me. Well, a few things did. The title is cute, and I like the cover. There were about 50 pages in the middle that really felt good (where the families were supporting Alex and Henry). Oh, I thought the quotes from literature and such that they put in each email were cool. Is this supposed to be the gay version of Meghan & Harry. It certainly felt like it and in that sense it was interesting in light of recent events with that particular royal couple. You could almost see Alex and Henry following that same trajectory. The author is also very upfront about writing this as a therapy after the 2016 elections.
