(3.5) decently entertaining, Alex Cross is a likeable MC. It wasn't overly thrillerish, but the plot was well developed with some good twists.

3.5 stars. This was a good read that kept me interested up until the last 1/4. After that I rolled my eyes a lot. There's a good deal of suspense and Patterson's casual easy read writing style helps to move the reader along. Not great fiction but an ok time waster if crime mysteries are your thing.

I'm sure I must have read this book years ago, but I didn't remember it. It was a great read - it kept me in suspense and wanting to know what would happen next throughout the whole book! And even now that I've finished it, I'm still not sure what actually happened, who done it, etc.... Great story!

I had wanted to read this book for a while but I kept putting it off. I am glad I finally read it but I might have had it too hyped up in my mind. About 3/4 of the way through it was losing me a bit but it ended okay and I will keep reading the series
