Solid ★★★⅘ stars!
Martel's imagination on spirituality and science gives this read a stand out approach surround a young Indian boy Pi who ends up being a castaway with a Bengal tiger in Life of Pi. Really liked the adventure and Darwinism involved in making the story come to life. One thing I could had lived without was the religion stuff. While many will say it plays a huge role in the story, I simply didn't care for it.
Of course, like many, I read this book because I do want to see the movie ...more
