It amazes me Dostoyevsky’s writing is modern in style and observations of human nature .
My favorite part was his take on “freedom” and the idea of it vs the execution of it . Reading this i discovered parallels to my co-workers in corporate America doing time waiting until the end when they can be “free”.

Reading this it should be remembered that it is more like a theme than a story. Dostoyevsky himself experienced prison life which I think makes this fairly trustworthy. Still, I didn't like it.
