The master of the plot twist that you never see coming.
I was surprised by the ending! I thought th beginning was a bit slow, but it picked up. I think I enjoyed Murder on the Orient Express and And Then There Were None better, though.

This tale was a really good and interesting mystery with a twist. I enjoyed listening to it but I must admit that some parts of this tale lingered in a bit. Even though the plot line was really good & the character development suited the plot well. Poirot comes out of retirement for the sake to investigate the murder of his friend Roger Ackroyd and he definitely succeeded. The narration of this audiobook was good and sometimes dull. Last month I read my first book by Agatha Christie (Murder on the Orient Express)... I gave it four stars but as time has passed I feel strongly that I graded on a curve due to Ms Christie's reputation. Today I would give it a weak 3 stars. But, because of that reputation I decided to read another and a friend recommended that I try this one. I liked it slightly more than the former, but I still feel it is only worthy of three stars.
