One of the best accounts about the holocaust from a holocaust survivor that I have read. Not an enjoyable book to read, but it is a powerful one. I am so moved by this book.

Oh my god! This slender, understated volume, written by Elie Wiesel, overwhelms what I thought I knew about the Holocaust. I've toured Dachau and visited multiple Holocaust Museums. I've seen a number of movies and read other books, but Weisel's personal account of the loss of his family and his unexpected survival is incredible. ...more
