I'd not read a James Petterson book before but because he's he most read author in public libraries, I thought I'd give him a try.
Alex Cross is a detective and psychologist who is investigating some murders. Then there is a high profile kidnapping and he gets put on that case. I enjoyed this first book in the series. I watched the movie afterward... DO NOT DO THAT. The movie was terrible and nothing like the book.
