Classic Patterson. My first Patterson book was an Alex Cross book and I loved it. This one was great as well. It started out slow, but eventually picked up and became a page-turner. I like the twists, and the dark ending.
I do have to mention that is is odd that Patterson's main character is a black man. Usually you write what you know. Robin Cook is a Doctor and writes medical thrillers. John Grisham is a lawyer and writes legal thrillers. Then there is Patterson, whose two main series charact
