So disappointed with this one! It started out so great. We first meet these two in a prior book in the series where he says he can't remember her name and she blends into the background. Love that. The gardens, folly and dogs part was great. Her in the pond reminded me of Pride and Prejudice.

One of my favorites in this series. They've all been really good, though.
Maximus is the Duke of Wakefield and knows exactly whom he will marry. At his country home, he decides to court her at a house party. Loved it!!! Best book I have read in a while
If I could give this more than 5 stars, I would.
