What Members Thought

A very cute and witty reselling of Cinderella, with sparkling dialogue and intelligent characters as is to be expected from Eloisa James. The novel is a fairy tale, not a historical romance, so my usual nitpicking of history habit is thwarted. Alas.

This is Eloisa's spin of Cinderella. Of course those who know me that is the first sign that I will read the book.
This month in a book club for Eloisa fans we are reading this book and I read it far to fast so luck for me I can keep reading it all month long.

I'm a big fan of Eloisa James and this book didn't disappoint. I love the whimsy, I love the fantasy/fairy tale, I love the humor, I love the fun. A series to look forward to!

This is a beautiful and unexpected take on the classic fairy tale. I have only recently discovered this author & genre and really like Eloisa James' characters. I wanted to finish this so badly I stayed up way too late & when I finally gave in to sleep, I made myself wake up early to finish this (& I'lll admit my son was late for school because of it) It was a very sweet story.
