I loved Tibias/Thorn in A Duke of Her Own when he was a cynical, bravado-filled twelve year old. Now an adult, he is irresistible.
Eloisa James has a wonderfully light touch with both plot and dialogue in this book. The biggest problem was I read it too fast--the wait for her next will be too long.

Not my favorite book by Ms. James. I don't know if it was just how busy I was while reading for the fact that the book seemed so typical and a little too similar to so many other books I've read that turned me off! It still was a decent book but just not up to par with what I expect form Eloisa James books! ...more

There were some aspects that aggravated me a little, but mainly, I was charmed. And perhaps it was wrong to find a secondary character more compelling, or it says a lot about me, but I was fascinated by Lala and wished for more time with her.
