So if you would have asked me yesterday what I would rate this book more than half way in, I would have said three stars, but holy cow the last 50 pages bring my rating up to a four. I can't wait to see what future awaits Lena. Will she ever see Alex again? Will she find her mom in the wilds. Should be exciting to find out!

I'm not sure why it took so long for me to start this story, but I'm glad I was finally able to read it. This book had such a great concept about love and the author did a wonderful job on building a world where love is a disease. Although it was a little slow in the beginning, it started to pick up and I could not stop reading. Towards the end of the book my heart was racing until the very last page. I've heard about Delirium from a good friend who edits my manuscripts for me. She told me about this book and gave it 4 stars. I tried not to read anything she had written about it.
What I did like? I liked that Alex was probably biracial and was hopeful. He liked Lena, despite her distance from him. I liked the futuristic view of Portland, Maine, overall. Sorry this review is so short, I'm bit overloaded at work right now.
