Becca Fitzpatrick really knows how to get under your skin and bring out all sorts of emotions with her writing. If you thought Hush Hush was good, wait until you read Crescendo.
In Crescendo, Nora learns a little more about what blood runs in her veins, and who her father really is. She discovers a lot of things about herself and the people around her. Nora makes a lot of decisions that will make you angry and love her at the same time. She does not know who she can trust anymore, even the love ...more

Thrilling young adult romance and spine tingling paranormal suspense at its best.
Crescendo is a fabulous sequel to Fitzpatrick's Hush, Hush. Nora walks a knife edge of danger, her heart pulled into one of the hottest YA relationships, while thrust into a world filled with terrifying fallen angels, nephilim, and other supernatural evils. The Story: Since Nora's near-death experience at the end of Hush, Hush, she has enjoyed a few months of happiness with Patch. Having your (hot) boyfriend as your guardian angel certainly has its advantages - that is, until the archangels find out you are in love with him.
Suddenly, Patch becomes distant and when Nora finds out that Patch is seeing her enemy, Marcie Millar, behind her back she is left heartbroken and wondering if he ever cared for her at all.

Crescendo picks up right where Hush, Hush left off and brings you on even more emotional roller coaster than before. Some questions are answered, but more are brought up and you are left wondering what could possibly happen now.
Nora and Patch have grown closer together, but as with any budding relationship, that first fight can be a doozy, and the close bond they once shared is broken. Patch begins spending more time with Nora's nemesis Marcie, and she finds herself thrown together with the new ...more

I really liked Hush, Hush and I couldn’t wait to read this book.
I don’t think I can get enough of Patch.I enjoyed that I got another look into the world of Patch and Nora.
The problem for me was that instead of getting stronger and closer together, Nora and Patch almost gets more apart in some weird way.
Patch is very distant and unfocused but because he is who he is, it worked in the story. What really annoyed me was Nora who was too angry, sad and very self pitying. It was frustrating to watch he ...more

I still have my crush on Patch. I just wonder why the 2nd book in alot of these series have to rip my heart apart through most of them.

I totally forgot about that cliffhanger of an ending!! I read this book the first time almost two years ago to the exact date. While I did enjoy it just as much, Nora annoyed me a little bit more on this second reading than she did on the first. I do like being able to read this series one right after the other though!

Enjoyed reading this book & liked it more than Hush, Hush. I was really annoyed with Patch & Nora throughout the story, but I couldn't put the book down.
