I didn't think this series could possibly get any better, until I read The Iron Queen and was blown away! This is definitely my favorite book in the series. (So far!) The Iron Fey series is absolutely fantastic. I can't rave about it enough. Definitely tops my list as a favorite series! (May just be my all time favorite!)
The Iron Queen picks up where The Iron Daughter leaves off. Meghan and Ash are in exile, and the false king still trying to takeover all of NeverNever, and is also still after M ...more

I love this series. The characters really make the books & the story is so detailed & creative, I can't helped but get sucked in. I have to admit I was a bit upset/teary-eyed at what happened with Meghan at first, but then I was like- hey, this will work out all right. This will definitely be fun!
I'm totally jazzed that there will be another book coming out & can't wait to read about the upcoming adventures. I love that the first thing they're doing is hunting down Grimalkin! ...more

While this book is written with the same style as its previous installments, I feel as though there is something which this book lacks. I can't pinpoint it, but I can tell you that I don't feel so captivated by the story anymore.
In the first half of the novel, Meghan basically did nothing impressive. It was only until the very last part, where she fought the false Iron King that she actually showed her power. In her body, there were two opposite powers and she had to learn how to use them togeth ...more

What a book! Julie Kagawa has done it again! I actually finished reading The Iron Queen a couple of days ago and decided to take my time writing my review. I want to scream at the top of lungs at how good this series is. This was an phenomenal addition to her Iron Fey series.
The Iron Queen is so full of action and different type of emotions that I was a mess reading it. And I mean that in a very good way. If it wasn’t one thing, it was another. It was nice to finally see Ash and Meg’s relations ...more

What can I say? Julie Kagawa has created a series that has now joined my top 5 all time favorites series! For me The Iron Fey series is ranked up there with The In Death series, The Black Dagger Brotherhood series, The Shifter & Soul Screamers series and the House of Night series! When I read The Iron Queen, I was transported to Nevernever. By the time I finished reading The Iron Queen, I felt like I had been through the war along side Meghan, Ash & Puck. And I am so thankful that I have The Iro

Meghan Chase is back at it again and this time she is the ONLY one who can literally save ALL of Nevernever. She is summoned by Queen Mab of the Unseelie Court and King Oberon of the Seelie Court to be told/asked to slay the new pretender Iron King who has taken over the Iron Kingdom and is wreaking havoc across the land by poisoning everything in its path. Plus, he has also started a war with both the Winter and Summer Courts. One that he very may well win unless Meghan accepts the request that

I was not sure what to think of these books when I read the first one, I was not too impressed but decided to stick to the series to see where the author was going. I am so glad I did. These are becoming more nail biting and heart pumping as they go along. And just for the record, I have a book fan girl crush on Ash. ;)
