Chloe is such a good girl, gets good grades and finds life pretty okay so far. But when a death guy shows up at school, she flips, understandable and gets herself a one way ticket to Lyle House.
Lyle House, an institution for kids who has problems, or at least that’s what they are telling her. When I begin to read the story, I found myself trapped in the world where Chloe is. I could visualize the whole story in front of me and found myself loving the story. At Lyle House she meets Derek, Simon,

Book One: The Darkest Powers Series

Summary
Chloe Saunders sees dead people. Yes, like in the films. The problem is, in real life saying you see ghosts gets you a one-way ticket to the psych ward. Her seemingly crazed behaviour earns her a trip t

I'd considered starting this series for awhile but I just didn't get around to it before now.
I finally read book one The Summoning and I'm really happy that I did. It's a good book.

As it often is with a first book in a series there's a lot of background information and I felt that the first 2/3 of the book moved very slow, but the last 1/3 was great, really tense and with a lot of suspense.

In the beginning of the book I felt like the langueid was a little to young for me and I was afraid that I

What an awesome story!! Cloe, just a plain and simple girl, finds her world turns upside down when she freaks out at school and gets sent to a Home for disturbed teens. Little does she know, she finds out that she's not crazy, and that she is "special" by seeing ghosts..The adventure is great, the characters are troubled, but come together to work out their situation...

I would definately reccommend this book if you love YA books!!!
