Wowzers!
So, the 1st book I've finished in 2021=
(a) Is a book that I've been meaning to read for YEARS, so I am super happy to have finally done so
(b) Was in Audible format and had a FANTASTIC narrator
(c) Blew my mind
Worth it.

I know this is deemed a Classic, and the writing has been compared to Charlotte Bronte's book, Jane Eyre which I dearly loved as a teenager. But I just could not get into Rebecca or the drama of the narrator. I found her tedious and melodramatic. I just could not see Maxim de Winter falling in love with her, nor could I believe that a person could undergo such a vast personality change as occurred in her in just four months.
