What Members Thought

This book is out of my normal genre. I usually read mystery, crime, etc. This is set in Ireland in 1918. I really enjoyed it. The characters were strong women. Some survive, others don't. Good descriptions. Characters were likable and believable.

So for some, 3 stars is a bad rating but for me, 3 stars is that "I liked it". This is an apt description about how I felt about this book. I liked it but it likely won't be a top read for me this year. Set during the Flu epidemic in 1918 in Dublin, it sure gives the reader a taste of what it might've been like for women during this time. Definitely not an easy read to be sure.
