The book is a fantastic murder mayhem mystery. There is no Miss Marple. There is no Monsieur Poirot. There are just… murders… mystery… and lots of maybes….

I love the suspense and the wonder of how exactly is the murderer going to be revealed or whether it will be revealed at all. I love Miss Marple & Monsieur Poirot but I reckon this is one of Christie's best work ...more

I read this book twice. I really enjoyed it twice. I enjoyed the book overall. The second time around, I knew what was going on. I thought the plot fascinating the first time. The second time, I was trying to figure out who the killer was and I couldn't figure it out. The second time around, the dialogue was wordy and unnecessary. Her puzzle making (and solving) is always fun, and her racism, Anti-Semitism, and other non -PC isms were sadly accurate to the times...

Now if only I could find the movie Agatha (starring a young Dustin Hoffman) on a medium I could see...it has disappeared...
