What Members Thought
To my complete surprise, I *loved* this book. I always enjoyed watching The Wizard of Oz movie, but it pales in comparison to this book. The one thing I will say about the movie is I thought how brilliant it was to film the opening Kansas scenes in black and white and then transition to color when Dorothy and Toto land in Oz. This was such a great adaptation of how L. Frank Baum described the grayness of Kansas and the spectacular colors of Oz.
