Im one of the few people who hasn't seen the godfather films, I did try to watch the first one once but fell asleep, and having now read the book I'm really glad I haven't seen the films as they would have spoilt the plot of what is a fantastic story. Having now read the book I will try again to watch the films but they will really have to be something special to match the quality of the book.
