The audiobook narration was excellent and so while I don't like listening to non-fiction on audio, I enjoyed this one. However, this is not a self-help type of book - in my opinion - it brought out a lot of the "why" behind habits - both personal and societal - and the last section / epilogue - meant to be more of an application of the lessons, was probably the weakest point of all. Very good book. I'd been happier with it if he had included a overall glossary and provided a definition and then a chapter number. It appears that there are several factors that can cause real habit change. The problem I had with it, hence no five star is the aspect of rewards. Some people cannot be bribed so easy or the rewards are pathology in essence.
Also, I think if I combined this with behavior/cognitive science I could see the loop cycle better. I, for one, am not easily influenced. Comme ...more

Really excellent book but I don't have the time to fully reread right now. definitely will revisit.
