I started this as an audio book that has just a great reader...but I didn't spend enough time in the car. I wanted to read more of this book as soon as possible.

the adventure and history and paranormal and....all of it combines to make this a very unique and fun story

but, again, stunted by a trilogy. I would have loved some resolution and some...well, just more of what the images showed...and we didn't get any of that.

so, maybe in the next book.... :) ...more

I thought I wouldn't like this book, but I absolutely loved it - I mean full-on, never-wanted-it-to-finish, loved it. The writing flowed so beautifully, the characters were unbelievably real, and the premise and setting was amazing. I am still stunned. I would never have picked this book up normally and I can't believe I would have missed out. 4.5/5. Maaaay end up being 5/5 after I think on it a bit more.

This book contains all sorts of paranormal awesomeness. It also gave me lots of feels.
I very much understand now why so many people are in love with these characters. Now I am, too.

On to book 2!

I heard of this author via youtube. I usually don't read a lot of young adult, but it seems a lot of youtubers do. I wasn't sure about this book/series and just picked it up because people were raving about the author and the series.

I have to admit the premise of the story intrigued me quite a bit. There was a lot of character introduction which at times slowed down the story. I can't pinpoint exactly what it is exactly that would just make my brain shut down and i would have to re-read paragrap ...more

I really liked her "Wolves of Mercy Falls" series, and this one was just as interesting. It was focused on ley lines, psychics, magic and mythology. It was interesting and fun with a great twist that actually surprised me. I'm curious to know what will happen next, so I will definitely be reading the next one. My only complaints would be about the constant use of the phrase "raven boys", it got old pretty quick, and the over use of "Aglionby boys". First of all, I have no idea how to even pronou ...more
