Well, it is the second time that I picked it up and this time I decided to read it as an audiobook as well as following the paperback copy that I had. The truth is I can't get into magical-realism genre books it strange. I wanted to read the book because I heard so many good things about the book as well as for the author too.

2.5 stars. A young man getting a job in a strange bookstore, with customers borrowing mysterious books, and deciding to solve the mystery with the help of modern technological implements: this definitely got my attention. However, while it was an entertaining read, I thought the story was too short to fulfil the book's premise. This was so much fun to read! I hated to have to put it down, but it was my bedtime book and I do get sleepy and need sleep especially this week so I can heal. Feeling so much better and finished this wonderful book this morning.
