This was another amazing MIL find. Supernatural SI-7 with plenty of humor and very interesting premise and characters. As an added bonus, the author lists books that influenced his writing, so I have a bunch more books to add to my list!
Definitely recommend if you enjoy police procedural meets thriller meets the supernatural with tongue firmly planted in cheek.

I'm giving this 4 stars because I don't really know what else to do. It's been a long, long time since I finished a book and felt as divided and unkempt as I feel after finishing this one.

I thought this book was a lot of fun. It was different than other urban fantasy/paranormal books I have read. Bonus points to the author for not feeling the need to have a romantic relationship in this book (not that I am against romantic relationships, but it is a nice change of pace for a lead female character in this genre).
