Shelves: ya-childrens, science-fiction, fantasy, coming-of-age
I was expecting this book to be enthralling from start to finish, but it took at least 100 pages for me to actually get into it. It felt a little repetitive and none of the characters really felt all that interesting to me. After things finally started to move, though, I did enjoy it. I will wait to read the rest of the series.
