Mediocre at best, this clunky dystopian novel is a cross between "The Lord of the Flies" and "The Hunger Games". It's about a group of teenagers trapped within the confines of a maze with their memories wiped clean. The authors writing style is pretty basic with little description and some confusing action sequences that are hard to get a picture of. This book has been on my kindle for ages. I think I got it either for free or for 99 cent some point... years ago. Why did it take me so long to read it? Because I went through a phase of prefering paper books again. Now am back to my kindle and after finished a book I bought recently I went through my kindle and 'stumbled' over this one. My 14-year old was so engrossed in the book that he read it in less than 2 hours. Then he begged me to go to the store and buy the other two books in the series.
