It has been a while since I read this, so I don't remember much. I do remember feeling weirded out when Emma & Jacob start "dating". Back when his grandpa was a kid, Emma had a thing for him and with him. This just seemed squicky!
Oh, and of course, Jacob's a snowflake.

There was a lot of hype surronding this book and I get it, it was a very intresting and unique but I didn't think its was all thattttt great. It was a completely different book then just about anything I've ever read. & it was a really neat concept to not only incorperate old photographs but add a story around them. It's currently 3:30 AM and I just finished!! I really enjoyed this book, the story was unique and the vintage photographs added a really cool element to the reading experience. I look forward to the sequel & seeing the upcoming film adaptation!

I really like this book and my only complaint is that is isn't quite as smooth and polished as it could be. I loved the use of the pictures and think that it will make a good edition to the middle school bookshelf.
