It was a bit confusing at first, and then I just lost interest in it about 1/2 way through. After a few days, I picked it up again and it seemed to get better. Definitely a different book from what I usually read. One night, three members of a family are murdered in their home. Only the youngest--a one year old old little boy--escapes. He toddles down to the local graveyard, and the ghosts and vampire who live there protect him from the murderer, a horrible man named Jack. I seldom listen to audiobooks even though I drive for over two hours every day I work. When I saw that part of this year's Read Harder challenge was to listen to an audio book I cringed, but then I saw that one of my favorite YA novels was available and I was not disappointed. A great author reads this great story!
