I really enjoyed this YA story. Gaiman's characters are just wonderful. You can't help but love Bod (short for Nobody), the baby adopted by the ghosts of a graveyard after he toddles in, escaping the man who has just killed his entire family. Each chapter tells of a specific event in Bod's life as he grows up living between the world of the living and dead. I thoroughly enjoyed the book. I do not think I would recommend the book for younger children. I think it is appropriate for young adults (14+). I found the characters endearing and interesting. I look forward to reading any further adventures Gaiman may have for Nobody Owens in the future.
