Think Bluebeard but his wife has a sister, who is willing to fight for her and save her life.

Thoughts on this Book
This was my first T. Kingfisher book, and it was a good one!

Female characters not being villainized is one of my favorite things, and this book has it in spades.

A good opening scene will always always mean something to me. And this one was perfect!

While I rooted for the romance, it did seem out of place in a novel about domestic violence.

So many intriguing ...more

There was a dog made of bones and a hen with a demon it her... i mean, what's not to like. I really enjoyed it, it was bit dark but at the same time still quite funny. And two old hags bickering was like a cherry on top for me :) it's only 2nd book by this author i read, but surely it won't be last :) ...more
