“An interesting family we are,” Lupe muttered. “Dr. Moreau’s twisted mistakes.”
Re-tellings are sometimes hard. I liked that this one is told from Dr. Moreau's daughter and what his world and "sanctuary" may have looked like from her POV. I liked the look in to the others that lived on the farm and the interesting political war and struggle within the region around them.
But I can't say I loved this one. It was good, interesting, but somehow was just never great. ...more
